Help Make Days That End in Y Better & Win Prizes!

As I approach my blogoversary (January 20, 2007), I want to know more about what you the reader want to see at Days That End in Y! So please fill out this brief ten-question survey.

In exchange, you will receive my everlasting gratitude, a better website, and the opportunity to win prizes! All surveys completed by January 20, 2007 will be entered in a random drawing. Winners will be posted to Days That End in Y and will be contacted via email. To win, you must 1) answer all survey questions, 2) enter your email in the survey, 3) have an USA mailing address, and 4) be 21 years of age or older. Limit one entry per person.

Here are the prizes. I’d rather send booze, but I’m unclear on the legal ramifications. Plus, I’m poor, so you’re getting cool nonalcoholic schwag.

  • Bacardi Surfboard with hanging clips for display
  • “The Art of the Bar” by Jeff Hollinger & Rob Schwartz
  • Bacardi Knit Cap
  • Urban Outfitters Three-Piece Cocktail Shaker
  • Skyy Vodka Poster
  • Another Skyy Vodka Poster
  • SV Supreme Vodka Poster
  • St. Pauli Girl Poster
  • Coors T-Shirt (Size XL)

Two notes about the Bacardi surfboard: 1) it’s not a real surfboard, so don’t try surfing on it, and 2) it says that it’s a promotional item and property of Bacardi. I don’t know if that means it’s actually the property of Bacardi or if it’s like one of those T-shirts that says property of whatever. If it’s the former, then I may either substitute a prize of similar value or may require you to ship it back in the future. I’m still trying to find out which it is.

All personal information is confidential and will never be shared with anyone else. However, I may post your name and location to this site if you are a prize winner. Your email address will only be used to contact you if and only if you win. Your answers have no bearing on your odds of winning, which is determined completely by the number of survey responses.
