Ladybug Taint Bad for Wine

Chemists at Iowa State have identified four chemical compounds that cause ladybug taint that can ruin wine. With this knowledge, they should be able to better detect the noxious odor and avoid the mass extermination of ladybugs, especially since the insect is generally beneficial for farmers.
