How much Chuck could two bucks buy if two bucks could buy Chuck?
Credit: Wikipedia
Ask Yahoo! attempted to answer this question last Wednesday and to debunk some interesting myths.
The real answer is pretty boring: there’s too much supply and not enough demand. Also, Two-Buck Chuck is likely made from cheaper grapes from Central Valley rather than Napa.
And yes, Charles Shaw is an actual person.

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.

I’d love to try a bottle of the Chuck. Unfortunately, our nearby Trader Joe’s can’t sell alcohol due to the state liquor laws, and the state-run stores don’t carry it.
