Taste the Truth

Finally, a corporate blog that doesn’t completely suck: Taste the Truth.com.

Pravda went to different bars unannounced and targeted 25- to 45-year-olds with taste tests. Participants were then given business cards that had phone numbers to comment on the taste. These comments—both good and bad—were then posted on the site along with descriptions from each outing.

So far, it’s been a good time killer, and the sound bites are pretty entertaining. Some of my favorites:

“…And I tasted whatever your liquor was against Grey Goose, and I prefer Grey Goose…”

“Hi, I’m Nikki, and I tasted Riccola against Pravda vodka, and I picked Pravda vodka! Yay! And then [incomprehensible gibberish].”

“Hi, my name is Ralph…I actually chose Level. I thought it was smoother, but I thought Pravda was more flavorful. But I don’t drink vodka for flavor, I drink it for the buzz, so the smoother it goes down, the better.”

“Yo, my name’s Janelle. I dunno. I just took both the, uh, vodkas. I thought they both sucked…”
